Which data and why?

The contact form collects your name, email address and brief, and, if provided, your company, telephone number, selected medium and preferred timing. We use these details to answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal or working relationship. Your name, email address and brief are required to process an enquiry through the form. Please do not include sensitive or unnecessary personal data in the free-text field.

Legal grounds

We process data on a contractual basis when taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and when performing it. For business contacts acting on behalf of an organisation, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Technical data, such as IP addresses, timestamps and error or security records, may be processed for our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and available. Legal obligations provide a separate basis where applicable. Submitting the contact form does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

Who can access your data?

Authorised MobilAd staff handle your enquiry. Hosting, email, IT security and backup providers may process data to deliver their services. Access is limited to what is necessary. Data may be disclosed to competent authorities where legally required. Any transfers outside the European Economic Area must be covered by applicable safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. How long is data kept?

We keep data no longer than necessary for its purpose. Retention depends on handling your enquiry, any subsequent working relationship, legal retention duties and the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Security purposes and replacement cycles are relevant to technical logs and backups. You can request the retention period applicable to your file from info@mobilad.be.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure or restriction of processing. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability applies where its legal conditions are met. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Send requests to info@mobilad.be. We may request reasonable additional information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month and will inform you in time of any legally permitted extension.

Complaints and external websites

You can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority through its complaints page, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels. External links, including LinkedIn and My MobilAd, lead to separate websites or services. Please consult their applicable privacy information.
